Customer: "Hello, I just placed an order, but I need to cancel it immediately. I mean, it's only been about a minute since I clicked purchase." CS Rep: "I understand you wish to cancel your recent order. Could you please provide your order number so I can look it up for you?" Customer: "Yes, it's [ORDER NUMBER]. But when I tried to cancel online, it said I had to 'request a refund' instead of just canceling. This is ridiculous, why can't I just cancel right away?" CS Rep: "I apologize for the confusion and any frustration this process has caused. Our system categorizes any immediate changes or cancellations after an order is placed as a 'refund request' internally, even if the item hasn't shipped. This is to ensure all financial transactions are properly documented. Let me see what I can do for you now." Customer: "But my vision insurance didn't even process correctly, that's part of why I needed to cancel. This whole experience feels so shady." CS Rep: "I'm very sorry to hear that your vision insurance didn't process, and that you feel this way. I see your order here.
